Start by mixing butter, molasses, sugar, and sourdough starter together in a mixing bowl. Then, add egg, vanilla and salt. Mix well! Then, add flour.

Next, roll the cookie dough into balls and roll them around in granulated sugar. You can also add cinnamon to your sugar if desired.

Place your cookie dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 10-13 minutes. Or, longer if you'd like them more crunchy

Remove them from the oven and allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes. Then, enjoy alone or with your favorite cup of joe.
