This recipe is so simple, natural, and wonderful. You won’t need medium heat or a fine mesh strainer for this recipe either, it’s so simple and quick. So, there are only a few simple ingredients needed for this homemade recipe, as well as only a few tools. You can find all of this at your local grocery store as well.
Tools needed:
Small bowl
Whisk
Ingredients needed:
Sweetened condensed milk – not to be confused with evaporated milk
Real pumpkin puree – you can use a can of store-bought, or, you can make your own homemade pumpkin puree
Pumpkin Spice (or pumpkin pie spice)
Cinnamon sticks (optional for garnish)
Now that you have all of your tools and ingredients ready, time to make the pumpkin sauce!
Step 1:
Whisk all of these ingredients into a small bowl, making sure it’s all well incorporated. You do not have to heat this recipe up, you can mix everything at room temperature.
Step 2:
Place into an airtight container, such as a glass jar or a mason jar.
Step 3:
Place it into the refrigerator and allow it to sit and rest for a little while. Once it’s rested, it’s ready to use.
